The iPhone 5 is 18% thinner and 20% lighter than its predecessor, the iPhone 4S. The iPhone features an improved proccessor, dubbed the Apple A6, which supposedly achieves twice the performance of the A5. The iPhone 5 includes 4G LTE connectivity. It has an improved iSight camera that Apple says increases performance in low light. 40% faster than before. The built-in rechargeable lithium-ion polymer battery is rated at 225 hours of standby time and 8 hours of talk time.
The iPhone 5 has two color options: Black with black glass and slate colored metal trim, and white with w hite glass and silver colored metal trim.
